Trouble is Brewing Full Results
Sam Beale vs. Jason Hotch
The show began with Sam Beale taking on Jason Hotch. The two took each other to the limit and sent the crowd into an early frenzy as they traded near falls with one another. At multiple points in the match, it looked like one man was going to get the win. This earned a “This is awesome chat” from the sold-out crowd. In the end, it was Jason Hotch who got his hand raised in the first-ever match to take place at Revolution Brewing.
Winner: Jason Hotch
Kylie Rae vs. Missa Kate
Two hometown competitors took to the ring next in a match that became very personal very quickly. Kylie Rae’s family was in attendance as her husband Isaias Velazquez and their child were in the crowd. The match spilled out into the crowd and Missa Kate made Isaias and their child watch as she attacked Kylie. This drew a shocked response from the crowd but fired Kylie up enough to propel her to get the win over Missa. It was Missa who got the last laugh as after the two exchanged a hug in the ring, Missa dropped Kylie with a kick to the face.
Winner: Kylie Rae
Mike Bennett vs. WARHORSE
AEW’s Mike Bennett stepped into the ring to take on WARHORSE. WARHORSE is not the same energetic character we have become used to seeing between the ropes and this was the first time many saw this side of WARHORSE in person. This match quickly spilled out into the crowd as the two destroyed chairs and spilled beers early on in the contest. The match eventually got back into the ring where the two traded hard-hitting shots. After a series of back-and-forth maneuvers, Bennett picked up the win.
Winner: Mike Bennett
Violence is Forever vs. Latinos Most Wanted
The next match saw two tag teams take center stage. The Chicago-based Latinos Most Wanted (Sabin Gauge and Koda Hernandez) took on Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku). Both of these teams bring a great mix of speed and athleticism with raw power. Latinos Most Wanted took to the air to try and defeat Violence is Forever. However, the experience edge both as wrestlers and as a team went to Violence is Forever. This helped boost them to a win in this tag team clash.
Winners: Violence is Forever
Trevor Outlaw Open Challenge
Trever Outlaw tends to draw a reaction from the crowd where he goes. As he made his way to the ring for his open challenge and to confront promoter Steve Tortorello….he was greeted with a shower of boos. Trevor’s ire was aimed at Steve, the fans, wrestlers…and many others. He was greeted by the Revolution Anti-Hero mascot who came to the ring to present the Revolution Brewing Championship to Trevor who took the opportunity to hit him with a low blow.
Before Trevor could fully crown himself champion some music hit and The Murderhawk Monster Lance Archer came to the ring to answer the challenge. This did not go well for Trevor who was tossed all over the brewery and had the Anti-Hero mascot return the low blow to aid Archer in the win.
Winner - Lance Archer
Mustafa Ali vs. Trey Miguel
The main event of the evening saw Mustafa Ali compete in his hometown against Trey Miguel. The crowd was very much in the corner of Ali as they cheered the hometown competitor. Trey did his best to play mind games and delay the start of the match but it did not pay off. Ali was able to pick up the win in his hometown and keep the win streak on the tour alive. Ali cut a promo at the end to an ecstatic crowd after watching their hometown hero pick up the big win.
Winner: Mustafa Ali
Promoter Comments
“We’ve always felt a clear crossover between craft beer fans and wrestling, including the continuous story-telling needed to keep fans engaged each day. Our biggest audience at Revolution grew up in a time where pro wrestling experienced a boom in interest that has remained a passion point into adulthood. We’ve worked wrestling into our beer names, artwork, and social media, but the next evolution was to really put our money where our mouth is and get involved with an actual show. I’ve seen a hyped crowd show up and fill the room for our barrel-aged beer releases, but I’ve never felt an energy like that. The crowd put their heart into creating an electric environment that began once the bell rang and thanks to A+ performances from the entire card, those who purchased a seat only really needed the edge.” - Doug Veliky, Chief Marketing Officer - Revolution Brewing
“We are absolutely thrilled with everything about the event, from the venue to the vibe to the turnout, to the action in the ring. We had a blast!” - Steve Tortorello, Promoter - Warrior Wrestling
“It was a pleasure to partner with Rev Brew to put on such an incredible show. Their team is full of great hard-working people who made it look easy. They were wonderful hosts and I hope they enjoyed the process as much as we did.” - Eric Hamilton, Promoter - Warrior Wrestling
“The fans always make the show. With this being the first Warrior show we’ve produced in a brewery we weren’t sure what to expect but the fans made it easy. They were loud and charged up. When that happens it invigorates the talent and the staff. I can honestly say that this show was one of the most fun we’ve ever done. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Lance Archer as the Revolution Champion.” - Tiffany Woronko, Director of Fan Experience - Warrior Wrestling
