Exhibitor Highlight: Focus Entertainment Talks Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at FAN EXPO Chicago
The Focus Entertainment team gave fans an exclusive demo of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 at FAN EXPO Chicago.
FAN EXPO Chicago has no shortage of gaming attractions and interactive experiences. One of the popular live gaming draws was delivered by The Focus Entertainment team, the publisher of the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 game. Representatives from the publisher were on-site to assist gamers and took a minute to talk about the experience.
The only way to get this early and hands-on experience is at FAN EXPO Chicago or the FAN EXPO Toronto show taking place from August 22nd to 25th.
Focus Entertainment Talks Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2.
Gamers were able to play the game live from the show floor of FAN EXPO Chicago. The game is a follow-up to the original Space Marine game but the team made sure to note that Space Marine 2 is “bigger and better.”
The Focus representative also discussed that gamers can expect to learn about what happened to Demetrian Titus, the main playable character from Space Marine 1. The original game left room for a story to unfold as Titus was arrested for heresy by the Imperial Grand Inquisitor at the conclusion of the first game.
The team noted that reception has been pretty positive as people worked their way through the interactive experience. You can make your own judgment when the game releases on September 9th, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
This interactive experience was made possible through the partnership between AMD who provided all of the PCs for gamers to play on, and Focus Entertainment.
To conclude, the team left us with some great advice, “You don’t have to be great at the game, just enjoy it”. Great advice that stretches beyond just Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2.
