FAN EXPO Chicago: All Gaming Stars Announced (So Far)
The event is headlined by Luke Skywalker himself (Mark Hamill), but don't sleep on the gaming stars scheduled to appear at the event.
FAN EXPO Chicago returns to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont Illinois just outside of Chicago on August 16th, 17th, and 18th.
The event features celebrities from different franchises and segments of popular culture. Notable stars from Star Wars, Terminator, Scream, Star Trek, Daredevil, Seinfeld, Saved by the Bell, and more are scheduled to be in attendance.
Additionally, notable voice actors from anime franchises such as Naruto, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, My Hero Academia, and more are set to appear.
The event will also have a focus on video games. The below guests have been announced and have ties to the world of video games. The guests will be available for photo ops, and autographs. Some may take part in interactive fan panels as well.

Announced Gaming Guests: FAN EXPO Chicago
Ella Purnell
Ella Purnell is officially credited with one video game in her filmography in the role of Gwyn in the Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova game. However, her ties to gaming go much deeper. Most recently she starred as Lucy MacLean in the Amazon Prime Fallout show that is based on the Bethesda-produced video games. She also voiced Jinx in the Netflix anime Arcane, based on the League of Legends PC game.
Jim Cummings
Known for his role as Winnie the Poo, Jim Cummings has also lent his voice to many video games. He has been part of notable franchises and games such as Baldur’s Gate, Epic Mickey, Fallout, Kingdom Hearts, World of Warcraft, and more.
Grey DeLisle
Known for being the long-time voice of Daphne Blake in Scooby-Doo, Grey DeLisle has also been part of many video games. DeLisle voiced Princess Padme in various Star Wars games that were released around the film, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. DeLisle has also reprised her role as Daphnie in many Scooby-Doo games and was the voice of Catwoman in the Batman Arkham games.
Maurice LaMarche
Known for voicing The Brain in Pinky and The Brain and multiple roles in Futurama, Maurice LaMarche has also been part of franchises such as Baldur’s Gate, Batman Arkham, Loney Tunes, and many others.
Rob Paulsen
Rob Paulsen has voiced many characters in a variety of animated programming. From Pinky of Pinky and The Brain to Carl Wheezer in Jimmy Newtron, to aliens in Ben 10 and Danny Phantom, Paulsen has voiced many of these characters in video game adaptations. He has also lent his voice to the Metal Gear Solid franchise as Grey Fox in the Twin Snakes re-release of Metal Gear Solid.
Frank Welker
Much like his Transformers co-star Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Frank Welker has reprised his role as Megatron from Transformers in various video games. Outside of the Transformers franchise he has been a part of franchises such as Kingdom Hearts, Epic Mickey, and various Nickelodeon and Scooby-Doo games.
Cameron Monaghan
The Shameless and Gotham star provided his voice, likeness, and motion capture skills to the Star Wars universe. He starred as Cal Kestis in both Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Neil Newbon
Neil Newbon has worked in key gaming releases such as Detroit: Becoming Human (Elijah Kamski and Gavin Reed), Baldur’s Gate 3 (Astarion), and Resident Evil (Nicholai Ginovaef and Karl Heisenberg). In addition to his voice acting work, he also provided motion capture for the previously mentioned games.
Yuri Lowenthal
Yuri Lowenthal is the voice of Peter Parker in the PlayStation series of Spider-Man games based on the Marvel Comics superhero. Prior to that he voiced the titular Prince in the Prince of Persia series and has also contributed voices to key franchises such as Saints Row, Final Fantasy, and more.
Roger Craig Smith
The voice of Sonic the Hedgehog, Roger Craig Smith is no stranger to voicing characters with a love for action as he was the voice of Chris Redfield in the Resident Evil series as well as the voice of Ezio in the Ezio trilogy of the Assassin’s Creed games. He is also no stranger to superheroes as he has voiced both Captain America and Batman.
Tara Platt
Known for voicing Anna Williams in the long-running Tekken franchise, Tara Platt has also voiced Wraith in Spider-Man 2, Setsku in the Soulcalibur series, and Temari in the Naruto games based on the popular anime series.
Zach Aguilar
Zach Aguilar has voiced Aether and Houzhang in Genshin Impact as well as reviving roles he has voiced in different anime shows such as Tanjiro Kamado in the Demon Slayer games. He also played David Martinez in the Netflix anime CyberPunk Edgerunners which is based off of the game CD Projekt RED game CyberPunk 2077.
Patricia Summersett
The Legend of Zelda franchise saw a change of pace with the release of Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild and its sequel Tears of the Kingdom. With that brought a fresh voice for the titular character in Patricia Summersett. She has also voiced in the Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, and other franchises.
Fred Tatasciore
In addition to having Neil Newborn (Ezio), Uncle Mario is appearing at FAN EXPO Chicago as Fred Tatasciore will be there to meet with fans. He is also known for voicing Damon Baird in the Gears of War franchise. His filmography is long as he has voiced in franchises such as Overwatch, Mass Effect, Destiny, and many others.
