Comicbooks For Kids Founders Share the Story Behind the Charity
Mark and Michelle Weiss of Comicbooks For Kids share the story of how the charity started, the mission behind it, and more.
Comicbooks For Kids is a Chicago based charity that provides Comicbooks, action figures, posters, and more to children that are hospitalized across the United States and Canada. The charity is run by the father and daughter team of Mark and Michelle Weiss. They took some time to chat with me about a large range of topics involving the charity.
We first connected at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) earlier this year where they had a vendor table setup near the artist alley section of the show floor. They had a great weekend of collaboration with artists, writers, and other vendors over the three days at McCormick Place in Chicago Illinois.
